This course is designed for students who are studying theater, film, dance, music, or who are simply passionate about the arts and want to deepen their experience in their chosen art form.

You do not need to have taken HUM 201 to join, but you must have completed ENGL 12000. If you haven’t taken HUM 201, you may be asked to submit a letter of interest and a resume to professor Jenny Rroji: jr5271@hunter.cuny.edu

In your letter of interest please make sure to state the artform(s) medium you are interested in pursuing while in this class.

Admission is based on the professor’s approval.

What to Expect:

• Customized hands-on workshops in music, theater, film, photography, and visual art
• Studio visits and creative projects with professional artists
• Opportunities to build your skills and prepare for internships or fellowships
• A hybrid format (HyField), combining classroom learning with field experiences
