Joey Merlo
Joey Merlo is a theatermaker, producer and educator who has taught all over the world including Greece, Peru, and Ghana. They are a NYFA Playwriting Fellow whose recent work includes the "Brilliant/Highbrow" On Set with Theda Bara and Midnight Coleslaw "A tender yet biting piece" (NYT). Recently, with Hunter College's Office of The Arts, Joey co-produced We The People: A forum on working-class artists in America. BFA from NYU Tisch, MFA from Brooklyn College, where he has previously taught.
